What is Kaiju Alpha?
Kaiju Alpha is a PvP battleground where every player spawns as a giant movie monster — a Godzilla from almost any era, a MUTO, Biollante, King Ghidorah's Showa form, Jet Jaguar, and original crossover builds like Shin Eva Godzilla. Fights happen in destructible city arenas that hold up to 25 players, and every kill plus every collapsing skyscraper pays out Cells, the currency behind most kaiju unlocks. The loop is simple to learn and hard to master: pick a monster, learn its five skills and two roars, win beam clashes by timing your releases, then sink your earnings into the next kaiju on the roster.
The game launched on August 17, 2026 under the SULU OPPA group and has been patched at a relentless pace — 54 numbered updates in its first two months, each one renamed in the Roblox listing bracket to headline its newest monster (the listing reads [ Heisei Mothra ] as of Update 54). That pace is why this wiki exists in this shape: most patch history survives nowhere except archives, because the developer overwrites the game description every release. Getting started the smart way
You begin with free starters (Gojira 1954, Gojira 1955, Anguirus (Showa)) and a grind ahead of you. The route most experienced players recommend: redeem every active code first — the current wave alone is worth hundreds of levels and hundreds of thousands of Cells — then buy Biollante at 50,000 Cells, whose wide-area damage and 4,900 HP keep a crowded Tokyo server profitable, and run building destruction loops while you save toward an endgame chain. Jet Jaguar 1973 (9,500 Cells) is the cheap fast body for getting around; Showa Ghidorah is free if you join the SULU OPPA group.
When you are ready to pick an endgame target, compare the two chains on their dedicated pages: Space Godzilla needs three kaiju leveled (Heisei Godzilla 100, Biollante 75, Godzilla Junior 25) but no kill counter, while Destoroyah Final Form costs 1,500,000 Cells plus two forms at level 100 with 100 player-kills each. What is Kaiju Alpha?
Kaiju Alpha is a free Roblox battleground by the SULU OPPA group (released August 17, 2026) where up to 25 players per server fight as giant movie monsters. How do you unlock Godzilla Ultima?
The published price is 1,000,000 Cells, and the price table notes an extra requirement that was never printed. A community video from before Update 51 showed a four-kaiju chain (Jet Jaguar Beta, Aquatilis, Amphibia, Terrestris at level 100 with 100 defeats each), but that chain is not on the later table — screenshot your live card before grinding.
Is Kaiju Alpha the same as Kaiju Universe?
No. Kaiju Universe is a separate Roblox game. Shared monster names do not mean shared prices, currencies or unlock rules — guides that blend the two rosters are wrong about both.
How many kaiju are in Kaiju Alpha?
